02 Jak to działa

How it works

The machine rests on the manhole frame, not on the road surface. That is the only reason a circular cut repeats without setting out and without anchoring.

  1. 01

    Mounting

The machine mounts in the manhole frame on adjustable expanding clamps. The manhole itself is the reference point, so there is no anchoring in the surface and no setting out.

  2. 02

    Setting

You set the cutting radius, up to 1300 mm, and lower the saw to the chosen depth, up to 100 mm. The same setting comes back at every following manhole.

  3. 03

    Cutting

A petrol engine drives the shaft with the cutting blades. The operator walks around the manhole pushing the saw frame, so they control the pace on hard aggregate themselves.

  4. 04

    Lifting out

The cut ring is levered up and lifted out. The shaft and the cover stay intact and the area is ready for adjustment straight away.

02Safety

Before you start cutting

  • Oznakuj i zabezpiecz miejsce pracy zgodnie z projektem organizacji ruchu.
  • Check that the manhole frame is stable and that the cross clamp has full support.
  • Set the radius and the depth before you start moving the frame around the manhole.
  • Work in protective equipment: ear defenders, goggles, gloves, safety footwear.
  • Fill the water tank before work. The blade is cooled with water from the machine, and no water in the blade guard is a common cause of failure.
