What manholes does the HornetCut R650 work on?
The machine mounts in the manhole frame on adjustable expanding clamps, so it needs no anchoring in the surface. You set the cutting radius independently of the manhole size, up to 1300 mm.
Does it cut concrete or only asphalt?
It cuts asphalt and concrete. How far it goes in reinforced concrete depends on the diamond blade you choose. The machine takes blades up to 350 mm in diameter.
How many people does it take to operate?
One operator is enough for cutting: they lower the saw to the set depth and push the frame around the manhole. For unloading and repositioning two people are easier, because the machine weighs 125 kg dry and 190 kg ready to work. On even ground the dedicated trolley lets one person roll it.
How is the HornetCut R650 transported?
On its dedicated transport trolley. Before transport you lock the arm rotation and the warning beacon is removed. The machine weighs 125 kg dry and measures 1400 × 840 × 1080 mm, so it fits an ordinary trailer or a van bed. It has to be strapped down for the journey.
How long does one circle take to cut?
The manufacturer gives no time standard, because it depends on depth, surface type and blade condition. The blade runs at 4750 rpm at depths up to 100 mm. The real time on a given surface is best measured on the first cut.
What does the HornetCut R650 cost?
The price depends on configuration and availability. We send the price list in reply to an enquiry, usually within one working day.
Is 100 mm reached in a single pass?
The manual does not prescribe a number of passes. The saw raise and lower mechanism lets you set the depth before each lap, so in a harder surface you work down to 100 mm gradually instead of forcing full depth at once.
Does cutting need a water connection?
No. The machine has its own 40 litre water tank with blade cooling, so it needs no connection at the working point. The water level is checked before start-up, as part of daily maintenance.
Can it cut a circle where there is no manhole yet?
No. The moving frame clamps into the manhole flange on adjustable expanding clamps, and that flange sets the axis of rotation. Without a manhole frame the machine has nothing to brace against.
What is the warranty and where is service?
The manufacturer gives 24 months of warranty within Poland. Repairs are carried out by the manufacturer's specialist service workshop, and a warranty claim is submitted in writing, describing when, how and where the fault occurred.
What is the delivery time?
It depends on machine availability at the time. We give it in reply to an enquiry.
Do you provide operator training?
The machine comes with an operating manual covering site preparation, work and daily maintenance. The scope of handover and on-site briefing is agreed when ordering.
